|OUR ORIGINS
A Brief History Of St Claret’s Origins
Claretian Missionaries (CMF), is a catholic religious congregation founded by St. Anthony Mary Claret in Vic, Barcelona Spain in the year 1849. This religious congregation work tirelessly to proclaim Word of God in nearly 70 countries in the world by all means possible including in the educational sector. In Kenya, the congregation started in the Diocese of Mombasa in the year 1992 as the missionaries took over the Shanzu Parish, which later on gave birth to Kiembeni Parish. In Kiembeni, not long after starting the parish, the missionaries took the initiative to start the school seeing that there was no Catholic school around to educate our children.
